I’m staying at my parents because I just had surgery. I have some hydrocodone. My mom just said “You’ve got to keep these out of sight, I’ll explain to you when you’re older” as if I don’t already know about my stepdad’s former prescription drug problem. I’m also 26, so idk how old one must be before they’re privy to such information lol
What I learned today:
4 out of 5 elderly people will not hold the door open for you, even though you’re clearly struggling with an infant car seat and can barely open the door. 3 out of 5 of those people won’t step to the side and will expect you to hold the door for them.
Unexpected things about giving birth:
So. Much. Liquid.
Perfectly normal to shake uncontrollably.
Epidural can make your face itch (not an allergic reaction, so it’s all good)
My husband says: the smells.
